I am having problems with the torque converter on an EB11 4lt 4 speed. When the coverter unlocks at around 100k the trans drops down to 3rd gear for a split second and then back up to 4th. I have taken it to the local auto shop and it has got them beat, they haven't seen or heard of the problem before, so I thought I would ask you guys. Any feedback would be great as if I can't fix the prob I will have to replace the trans and we know how costly the 4 speed is, Thanks for your help.....

Try a second hand converter from a wrecker, if that is the problem it should fix it and wont cost much as they dont usually sell them. If they try to rip ya off walk away, theres plenty of wreckers
