G'day guys and gals
just thought i'd share with you all the fruits of my last week while i was chasing up a pair of struts for the EF.
in doing so i i'll give you the codes and prices of the three most common struts and retailer. ie monroe vs. gabriel vs. KYB & supa cheap(sc) vs. repco(r) vs. burson(b)

Gabriels
81339 = $35x2 (sc)
69664 = $45x2 (sc), $93 (r)
42339 = $75 (r)...self leveling
658002 = lowered sports struts, no price avail.
G55695 = front struts

Monroe
170202 = $162 (r), $190 (b)
150202 = $116 (r), $153 (b)
MGR109 = $351 (r), $421 (b) ... Air adjustable
174202 = $169 (r), $198 (b) ... lowered sports struts
374289(+88) = $161x2 (r), $177x2 (b) .. front struts
370289(+88) = front struts
350289 = $127x2 (r), $142x2 (b) .. front struts

KYB
343327 = $70x2 (b)
333335 = $129x2 .. front struts

please note that these models are only for EF/EL's and that the above prices are only the RRP, so if you talk to your dealer nicely and get em on side you can get a better price as i managed to get a pair of rear KYB's for less than $100 :wink:

by the way, the price of the ford motorcraft struts are about $140pr for standard and roughly $190 for sports rear struts

Hope this helps those of you looking for a new set of shockers :shock:

** how bout SHOCKERS....for all the lift u need??? LAME? **

also pays to buy factory direct if you can or straight from a stockist. in s.a. cbc bearings is a monroe stockist and were cheaper by some margin on every retailer.
