just thought i'd share with you all the fruits of my last week while i was chasing up a pair of struts for the EF.
in doing so i i'll give you the codes and prices of the three most common struts and retailer. ie monroe vs. gabriel vs. KYB & supa cheap(sc) vs. repco(r) vs. burson(b)

Gabriels

69664 = $45x2 (sc), $93 (r)
42339 = $75 (r)...self leveling
658002 = lowered sports struts, no price avail.

Monroe

please note that these models are only for EF/EL's and that the above prices are only the RRP, so if you talk to your dealer nicely and get em on side you can get a better price as i managed to get a pair of rear KYB's for less than $100

by the way, the price of the ford motorcraft struts are about $140pr for standard and roughly $190 for sports rear struts
