i have just bought one of these rare V8 muscle cars from south afrika
does anyone have any info on them or know where i can find a group A front bar for one.

Gee thats different a Ford Sierra with a 5 litre Windsor V8. How tough is that. Sure is a bit cramped in that engine bay. Imagine the,
"What the?" looks you would get from people as you pulled up at the lights.

I looked that up on sensis.com.au lot more sites but most are unreadable like Russian etc :D

south africa got a few nice fords like the 2 door cortinas and even one tonner flat tray cortinas with v6's in em.

they made some sick stuff over there. factory v8 capris called peranas,
v8 sierras, they even had xw and xy gt,s they are fairmont gt's over there.

Yah, I was born their, but my parents decided to move here to Oz when I was about 4 years old. Pity I didn't stay their long enough to enjoy their Tough V8's. I believe a V8 Perana won some big Race a few years back. Might of been a Targa rally type race :?:
