ok
why did u buy XR6t plugs? there are for the XR6T ie for use in BOOSTED conditions and also the BA run coil on plug not coil pack i would pressume all BA plugs have the thinner top i doubt it would be much of a drama all u will need to do BEFORE fitting the plugs is the trial fit the plug to your lead if it is too loose then take the plusg back and get soem XR6 plugs for your model car not ba

Just take them back and get plugs that suit the engine.

XR6 plugs (or BA plugs for that matter) have a smaller thread then E series cars, so there is no way they will fit

Nah thread is the same i checked. The reason i got them is because they are an iridium plug. Also the plug is not for just boosted apps. They are standard in such cars as:IS200,and various toyotas.

Do they have the same heat rating as EF plugs? Does the tip sit in the same place in the combustion chamber?

i think you'll find it has a colder heat range than normal ba plug. not sure if this will be of any benefit to you in an ef.

Yeh sits in the same place, but the part of the plug that sits outside the head is abit smaller. |
