that blower is far to small to make any sort reasonable power.
and by the time you stuff around making it fit and work you could have bought a kit from CAPA |

waste of time mate. A mate of mine had a VS commodore with the small toyota blower on the side. It sounded awesome, felt like it went hard in the car and looked good under the bonnet. So i asked him if he wanted to go line up for a drag and i blew the doors off him twice.
No real big gains to be had with these blowers just a lot of wank factor.

CAPA's kits are pretty pricey though...
Just buy a turbo :p. |

there was a VS como for sale a while ago with a toyota charger on it and a cooler. made a stonking power figure of 160rwkw. no point in them really, way to small. you can get 160rwkw easily with cam and headwork and no blower. afraid to say theres no real cheap way with forced induction. turbos your looking at a $10g price to set up properly, and a blower kit from capa will set you back around $6g

Just buy a turbo :p. you'll never get a turbo on there for the price of a capa blower kit |

yeah but you spend 10k on a turbo you'll get better performance than 7k on an SC.

yeah the Toyota SC14's is to small for a 4 litre, but just right for on my ROLLA the only thing you could do would be to put two in but there may not be any room for that?
this it what they look like in a rolla. Cheers, DAN

yeah but the thing is with useing it on a bigger engine to make any good boost you have to gear it up so then you can end up running the S/C at to higher RPM and it will not last as long
What about just going Turbo? might work out better Cheers,DAN

i see it as S/Cs are a half way option... like running a turbo on low boost but without having to pay for the turbo... i'd say go for it...

They make 3psi MAX on a standard 3.8 commy with no mods. On the CRS website it even says dont bother with one if you have any engine mods as it wont do anything. These blowers are too small. You wouldnt put a turbo from a 2lt engine on a 4lt so why do it with a supercharger. You would need 2 of them before you started to make good power. And the capa kits might seem expensive, but keep in mind they include every single nut and bolt you need to get it in your car. The kits themselves are also engineered which makes it a lot easier to make your car legal.
