hey i recently had a stage 1 shift kit done on my auto. They fitted a new adjustable motor control solenoid which firmed up the shift for only $340 including full service. I am taking it back soon to get firmed up even more to around stage 3 which is a matter of adjusting the solenoid for only $100. All work was done by SUNSTATE DIFF AND GEARBOX on the sunshine coast QLD

An adjustable shift kit would have the same effect, however you can adjust it from in the car, while your driving

As far as stage 1/2/3, its not a real good way of describing a shift kit.
In most cases, prople refer to stage 1 as a gearbox that has a firm shift, stage 2 has a very hard shift and stage 3 is a gearbox thats fully manualised.
