Guys...the climate control in my NL is a pain in the butt as you can't have the "feet and face" vents selected in Auto mode, it always switches to Manual. I'm assuming everyone else with the EF-EL climate control has this programming...does anyone else have a problem with this or know if it can be fixed...I might just have to put up and shut up!

Put up and shut up.
Auto mode is exactly that, it picks the bes airflow pattern to keep the intended temperature. Manual mode is what I have mine set to all the time - mmm 16°.

It is still working in auto! Because you have selected a vent manually it indicates manual, however it is still controlling fan speed and temperature automatically. From AU this manual indication has been changed to semi-auto. I must be a rarity, I generally run mine in full auto.

in colder weather I set it to Auto (but turn A/C off) and have it set to 22 or so...

One thing I do LOVE about it however is the demister always knows what to do and does it quickly.

just turn the AC on and leave it on, it makes driving easier, costs a little extra, big deal
