Yeep, most wreckers wants $75 for them, but I want them for less! lol. So if you have one lying around doing nothing do us a favour.
I do mean the chrome part that actually surrounds the number plate on the rear of an EL Fairmont, NOT the horizontal chrome boot gnarnish, I have that. Cheers.

$75 is pretty reasonable.
I sold my last one for $70, so it seems the going rate. They are getting rarer! |

Too bad.
I have an EL Fairmont with the Chrome Trim around the licence plate. However I'm selling it with my boot and garnish for $200. |

yes, pretty easy to install... fit straight in... just needed to drill 4 5mm holes in the boot lid as the chrome trim has 4 threaded legs that hold the trim to the bootlid surface..

Don't phark it up
I've seen a*** drill too high and too low - you can tell when it's not right Scary things aside - line it up first as it does have a general contour of the boot line. If you are able to use someone else's to compare (in the flesh), you will get the best idea of placement / hole drillage |

F**k. "f**k" .... jesus christ!! ?????? what i did was put red paint on the tips of the threads n i pushed the chrome trimming up against the bootlid leaving 4 lil red dots for a perfect guide as to where to drill the 4 holes.. worked for me.. |

Put I'm real picky man, I want it to sit perfectly. And while that method would have the holes all worked out right, I don't think I could get it to sit PERFECTLY where it is meant to, using that method.

parkinsons?? my bad!! sorry if i offended.... i did it the way i described n u cant tell that it wasnt a factory feature of my bootlid.. it does look perfect in its allignment.. but anyhow.. if u dont want to do it that way u can trace around the trim using some thin cardboard.. like the stuff that cereal boxes are made off.. using that to mount it perfectly.. more trouble n time consuming though..
