Keep in mind that a lot of people have suffered gearbox failure shortly after fitting these electronic kits. I have noticed recently that even some poeple who jump up and down when this is pointed out and say they have no problems are rebuilding there autos after unexplained failure.

I did it to my 5L and in my opinion, a total waste of time and effort.
My gearbox died a few months later from a defective inhibitor switch and this gave me an excuse to drop the manual in. A manual is so much better than a shift kit. |

manual = better.
don't be a pretended with an auto. if it's auto, it's slow, deal with it. otherwise buy a manual. auto's only good when strengthened and about 250rwkw of forced induction power going through it. |

You would'nt see me hauling a heavy trailer with a 5speed as the clutch & box would'nt last to long as auto are rated more for pulling weight.
