Was getting a couple of quotes today, and Tyre Power recommended Nexon Tyres.

Never heard of them before - anyone used them?

Any good?? or cheap rubbish??

I think maybe you mean "Nexen"? Have heard of them but yeah, couldn't give you any info as to how good they are. Depends on what you're after but I just bought a set of Nankangs Ultra Sport NSII's to go with my new rims and am very suprised at how good they are. Far stickier than the Falken's I've had previously and CHEAP. 265/35's 18" for $198ea and 235/40's for $160. Only downfall is they are pry just a little noiser than most.

I have Nexen 235/45 17's on my EF Gli and i love the tread pattern of them. They stick to the road like glue and i believe are better than the 17inch Falkens i had.

Yeah my old man has them on his Fairy. Only 16's but he seems to like them. The guy who we got them off, said they were a knock off of some other companies tread pattern. So for the money so far, we cant complain.

i have nexen 225 50 r16 on my ed.

great tyres in the wet when they are new :P

good value for money i paid 115 each for them.

on the track you might suffer from a bit of understeer compared to a decent tyre. I went from goodyeareagle F1's to nexens and i could tell the differnce.
But im happy with the nexen value.

I was in the same boat and would have to agree. I found the nexens heaps better than the Falkens espescially in the wet.

Now a days you find alot of the no name brands are much of muchness, they all are copy's of big brand tyres and most seem to hold on ok.

if i didnt work where i work (bridgestone) now i would probabli be lookin at getting some of the nexen tyres, from what i see the nexen are a better tyre then the other cheap brands of tyres personaly i recon there around the same type of tyre as the kumho's.

i put the nexen n3000 on my sisters car a little while ago an they seem to be goin alright, compaired to the kumho's that come off it.

it shouldnt really matter what brand tyre you get cause none of them will last all that long, just try get them rotated when they need it and keep the wheel alinment correct.
