Don't think it's dead... You'd know if it was. You know that annoying jap car noise when a door is open. Well EF/EL's do it too if the air bag light is blown or removed.

The ECU and airbag modules only remember so many codes (I can't remember howmany that is right now), each time you start the car, a 'everythings fine' code is remembered, given enough starts the fault code will be forgotten.

LOL!!!
I dont think I have that many errors .... otherwise the car wouldnt be running ![]() Air bag globe is fine it comes on when the car starts now and goes off like all is back to norm... was just the 1 day after the flat battery that it was coming on, strange ![]() EDIT: Come to think of it, my car has _ALWAYS_ spat out a speed sensitive power steering error code every time I get it checked... Which is weird being a fairmont not a ghia I didnt think it had SSPS, its never worked since I got the car anyway, still spits out errors tho... |

It 'keeps' 80 errors, each time you start, the oldest oneis forgotten, s if you're always getting a SSPS error plus the 'everything is ok' error will mean the 80 won't last too long.
