Hey I was just trying to put my sub in and I noticed I have alot of sand on my engine and particuarly at the front near the radiator.
Is this a sign I should get my radiator flushed or can I clean it all off and save my engine from the evil sand? |

mate just use the hose,(when engine cold of cause)

I have a feeling a sub wont sound very good in the engine bay, especially with all that evil sand!

sounds like something i'd do as well. i'd start installing a sub and end up changing my oil or something

I would certainly give it a flush. Sand is abrasive which is not good for metal.

How would I flush it? Just spray it all with a hose??

Is the sand in the radiator like I assumed or is it just on the outside?
If it's inside, undo your hoses and shove the hose in the bottom of it and flush it, then run some from the top down. If it's outside then just run the hose over the fins to clear the sand out. |
