my father has a eb xr8 he said it has started blowing oil back up the dipstick after he changed the oil did he over fill it or is there something else wrong any help greatly appreciated

check the dipstick to see if he has in actual fact overfilled it.

put enough oil in drove to melton and back home and it still blowing oil up the dip stick. Near new dipstick put in so its not the dipstick popping out could it be any thing else

You're obviously having crank case pressure issues.
If it's doing that you can usually say severe ring problem or a hole in the piston.
Is it blowing any smoke? Is it still running smooth and have the same power?
I just find it strange that this happened straight after changing the oil.

before this last time how long ago did you change the oil. did you keep the same brand of oil. it is possible if you used a cheaper brand of oil that the detergent levels in it have basically f@*!d your engine. i have seen this on a whole fleet of vehicles before. i'd change the oil again for a good 20/50w oil. remove the oil filter and cut it open. check for a grey sludge in the element. if there is your in trouble

currently stopped spitting oil what he said was he didnt fill oil filter because of the angle or something i havnt had a problem thanks for your help everyone keep you posted if any changes
