Diff Tag Reads:
P/N 91DA-4005-FL RATIO 3.27 SER. NO 1004 Obviously it's a 3.27 ratio, however i always thought my diff was an LSD, but now im not so sure. Can anyone tell me if it's an LSD or not, and how can i tell how many spline my axles are without removing them? |

looks like it comes out of an ea so you would have 25 spline axles. this was the case in ea -eb series I. If you want to see if you diff is lsd jack up the rear of the car so both wheels are of the ground and spin them by hand. if they both turn the same way then you have lsd if one wheel goes forward and the other goes backward then you have a single spinner

Don't LSD diffs have a tag on them saying so aswell? Like in EA-EB I thought they said something like spin resistant differential or something like that.

a 91 part number would be EB, but probably still 25 spline.

yep, they have a metal tag that the filler plug goes through. it says high perfomance then i think limited slip. i havent looked at my tag in a while. its mainly so u put the right oil in the diff

dont think so. my ive got the hi performance tag on my diff but its just a single spinner.

OK... ends up my diff is a EB diff, 28spline, and is a LSD. Nannas_ed... your diff may be the same as mine. When i turned one wheel, the other wheel span as if to indicate a one way diff, however after pulling the cover off its definitely a LSD and the Limited Slip is buggered. So, after much thought, a minispool is being fitted up on friday. The car is my daily driver, i've got 274kw@rears and 265/18's... can't wait to see how the axles hold up lol
