Ok, ive had my PS2 mounted in the boot for ages, but im so tired of opening the boot everytime i want to turn the PS2 on!! I want to mod the PS2 so when i turn the invertor on the PS2 power's on. I've had the PS2 apart and i'm not sure what wires i need to bridge on the switch, and my multimeter's dead... anyone got any ideas?

quick question say you turn the PS2 on and then (From the powerpoint) turn it off, when you let the power on again (from the powerpoint) is it still on????
If that is the case why not just run a switch in between power source and the PS2 on the cable supplying the power to the PS2. (If the above mentioned works) just keeps the power button in the on position. |

when the power is switched off from the power point and then turned on again the ps2 just goes into stand-by mode

Isn't quite so easy...there's quite a few wires that run from the power switch...

Put a solenoid in the boot mounted to press the button and a push switch in the centre glove box, then you can turn it on, turn it off and reboot it all from the drivers seat ........
