ok here i go guys, something is wrong with my baby,, was driving to day and my battery light is flickering, the faster i travel the faster it flickers, when i'm stopped at the lights the light is off, then when i take off ,there it goes it starts again,, does anyony know why its doing this, any sort of help will do, i recoed the alternator about 1yr ago, don't think its the alternator

sounds like te altenator belt is slipping under acceleration check the tension. if the belt is fine could be battery voltage regulator. but normally its the belt

sounds very much like the alternator to me,
Its not something like the pulley is loose on the alternator itself is it?

but the light is off when i'm on idle, its gotta be something else

thats itpop the hood and see how much slack is in the alt belt. its just a little bit loose so that it grips and low rev but under load it starts to slip.
