I have recently replace the light for my odometer, all seem to go well the a couple of days latter I started getting the airbag light flashing (Code 44) which is "Dash Crash Sensor Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly" is it possible I have screwed this sensor up when pulling the dash out to change the globe? If so where is the Dash Crash Sensor located and what does it look like.

Cheers

Make sure you reconnected the earth wire above the cluster.

you might like to try an airbag code reset - found in the tech doco section on here. See if clearing the last codes helps. Might not be anything wrong!!

Is it just me or does the "Ask Johnny" active airbag diagnostics not work. I have tried on three diffrent computers and with diffrent web browsers and nothing.

I put the code in and press the button and nothing?

Johnny doesn't work for me either and the active diagnostics says you have to have administrator priviledges to view the document :?: :?:

There are three sensors for the airbag system.
The front sensor, mounted on the front of the radiator support, the safing sensor, which is inside the blue airbag control module and the dash sensor. The dash sensor is located on the drivers side, mounted to the firewall inside the car up near the heater box. Check its not loose or not plugged in maybe.
