hey guys
Any one know what the oams are ment to be for the coolant temp sensor orr a 250 crossflow 4.1 unleaded EFI 1907 motor????? Thx

Do you mean the Ohms? Geez a 1907 motor?? wow that'd be worth a fortune now. it's an antique

I believe its the same as later model cars
Not 100% sure though so check that these are sane values

just a quick question, i had my car in diagnostics mode for a while, and the coolent temp heats up slowly after you start the car. but once it reaches 90, it just sits there. doesnt matter how i am driving, i find it hard to believe the engine can maintain exactly 90 degrees, is this a sensor problem? or should i just forget about it.

cheers That is exactly what is supposed to happen. The thermostat is openeing and closing and the fan is turning on and off to maintain that temperature.

ok, cheers i thought it might go up and down a little, i just didnt want the car to be able to overheat without me knowing.

Im sure steam from under the bonnet would explain lots... but yeah, its meant to be like that, the heating up that is.. and I just checked those values stock standard, and they are exactly the ones I have, which seem to match most fords (aussies or not)...
