ok, so my ef is shaking like crazy when it runs and sounds like a v8! The latter is awesome but the shaking is creeping me out. Heres whats happened,

I accidentally blew a 10Amp fuse last night and cbf getting one from the shop so i called RACV (why not i pay 150bucks a year). I didnt tell the guy it was a fuse coz he wouldnt fix it, but i just said it wont start man, then he checked under the hood at the gasket (i think thats what it is) and then he opened my boot and started hammering my fuel pump (WTF) and it still wouldnt start. So then he was thinking for a while then he looked at the fuse box (im like finally) and he goes oh its the fuse (im like oh ok) then he replaced it and it started of course then he's like oh it was probably your a/c generator or something. So then he tried to full on yank out the wire for the a/c under the hood but couldnt get it thank god so he goes oh just risk it. im like ok. So the problem is now its really loud and theres heaps and heaps of shaking when the cars idling. I can feel the vibrations through the floor and i can sense a bit of loss of power. Does anyone know why this might be? and also, whats the best way (and most efficient) of making my car sound louder without changing the whole exhaust.

Sorry, feels like ive written a book, please help. CHeers

you could install a pod filter without a box, but that would only be a sucking sound. If you wan't more engine sound, then you gotta drill holes thru the exhaust and that really pox imo. :P

2 1/2 inch exhaust with lukey muffler no resonator sounds absolutely sweet as on a i6, sounds like a V8 when it idles

Not firing on all cylinders ??
Might explain shaking but not necessarily extra noise.
Good luck

check all your spark plugs that they're all pushed down hard. This wanker from RACV could've given one a good yank and half pulled it off... that explains the rocking, and quite possibly the louder noise
