cheers guys i like the qik ramp up of the comp cams, have heard people say crane 2031 is fine with computer xe270hr has couplr of degrees more dur wondering if anyone had usedit or might be safer to go with xe264hr but if im gonna do it wanna do it right. how did the xe282hr go IXLRATE All the gear ratios etc are stock(au fairmont) Hans i no whaty you mean about matching cam to engine ,but its a bit different when you do things as you go on a limited budget .And the missus doesent want me to turn her wagon into my escort van i had wen i was a young fella (cam that lumpy would not idle cold) she"ll get over it

i haven't used the xe282hr it was recommended to me,my motor is being built as we speak,my mechanic will be picking a cam this week as he's matching it to suit the flow ratios of my heads.i'm also upgrading my computer to handle the 30lb injectors,i've decided to go unichip at the moment as its cheap cost me $150 from ebay should be up and running next week i hope
