I have the radio code for an ED falcon but i dont know how to enter it into the radio to get it working. Normally you would just key in the numbers using the station programmable positions but this code has a 9 in it

IIRC you have to keep pressing the buttons. Eg if you press 1 its should show one then press it again and it should show 2. keep doing this till you get 9.

How do you get to the next number?
if I push 1 nine times for the first character and the second character is a 3 what do I do?

Use the 1 button to select the position then the Tune Up/Down buttons to get the number.
Key Presses after "Code" is shown
1 (to start code entry)
Up/Down (select 1st digit)
1 (store 1st digit, move to next)
Up/Down(select 2nd digit)
1 (store 2nd digit, move to next)
Up/Down (select 3rd digit)
1 (store 3rd digit, move to next)
Up/Down (select 4th digit)
1 (stores 4th digit - if all digits correct radio will be functional)
