gday all

Had the heater tap replaced today in my NC and was really looking forward to a warm car to drive in....i turn it on and all that comes out is cool air..........i turned it up to 32d and still cool air. I went back and asked them to have a look at it to make sure all the hoses were put on correct etc....and all was fine.but they did mention that it could be that a vacuum hose on the back of the CC unit was crimpted or loose and to go home to have a look.

cut a long story short, when i pulled the CC unit out ,there were no vacuum hoses in sight or anywhere to put them into, only elec wires were to be seen.

can anyone help me as its getting a bit chilly of late and would like to drive in comfort without the family jewels dropping off.

cheers

according to old mate at the garage,he said there should be vac hoses at the back of the CCU,but there was nothing there to resemble hoses or where the hoses go,so im stumped

My blend door motor was faulty couple a years ago ,there was a post on this web site describing how to repaire it. All my door needed was a clean out in the motor but you have to pull the dash out.

few simple questions.
how can i detatch the hood cable from the instrument panel as i cant see any screws holding it in place(looks as if its been plastic welded).

can someone post what the steering column connectors look like as well.

which is the heater control cable,or does my NC have it?

cheers.

bonnet cable just unclips.

Your NC dosent have a heater control cable. It electric / vacume operated.
