hello guys,

just bought myself a pair of
-6.5inch response splits for the front and rears of my ef futura
-a boxed 12inch pioneer sub
-4x100 response amp for the splits
-2x150 response amp for the sub.
got all wiring and everything aswell

just wondering how much i would be looking at getting everything installed from a pro?
got a quote froma place in south melbourne for $300
is that alot?

if anyone wants to make a deal and gimme a hand just PM me and we can figure something out

yeah man i would help but 9 hrs for a install....... Sorry. You can DIY cause its piss. Just take door trims off and replace speakers. Rears are easier. Sub......Dont take short cuts because thats when things f**k up. But yeah. There has to be someone here that can do it for you in VIC

$300 isnt too bad for a complete install..providing they do a decent job....but if your not lazy and enjoy car audio then do it yourself...id help ya but, agree with stomper 9 hr drive for an install..

its half the fun installing it yourself!! you can learn new things and have a few mates around and have a few froffies while your doing it!! my mates and i have had some great nights doing installs!!

Nothing quite like blowing up an amp two days from Summernats audio comps, then rushing around to beg/borrow/steal another one and get it install and TUNED in time.

i installed a cd player 6" splits 6x9" at the back (had to cut holes) 12" sub in box and 1 amp into my el xr6 and took me around 3-4 hours.. its easy and fun to do.. hardest part was the back speakers and running thw wires to fit.. apart from that its pretty straight forward.. do it your selve mate a bit of fun

Thats it mate do it yaself and then you can appreciate the gear abit more since you busted ya a*** installing it. :)

Work out how ya want it to look then post here as you go through it for queries or if ya get stuck :P just remember if ya think ya gonna get stuck ask before u go ahead so u dont end up wishing u had asked first :P

try and do it urself. in the end ull feel much better cause u saved 300 bux and that u have learned something new and now know how to do it urself. Another bonus would be if something goes wrong you would know where to look cause you know where u placed the wires and stuff........i would help you install it if u were close to thomastown and when the exams are over.
