Hi All,

I am wondering if you could help me, I need to take out the standard head unit from my vehicle but I don't want to take the complete dash off, is this possible :?:

If not what is the best way of taking the dash off :?:

Any information that you can provide is appreciated. :D

Thanks

Hey

You need the U shaped tools to remove the headunit which are dam hard to find and are a bit expensive (mine cost me $20). You put them into the small holes either side of the head unit to unclip the headunit.

You can try with pieces of wire instead but be careful as its dam hard and the story goes that you can stuff the clips.

Unless you are going to be repeatedly taking it out and putting it back in just slip into anywhere that installs audio gear and ask if they can take it out takes like 20 seconds to unclip from where it is and leave it hanging out but with the wiring still connected.
