Hey,

I just purchased the fixed 30mm front and adjustable rear swaybars from whiteline for my EL.

But I think there is a problem. The Polyurathane 'D' Bushes that came with the rear swaybar appear too large. They have 24mm written on them but the bar would be about 22mm. They are quite loose when I try and fit them.

Has anyone else fitted the adjustable rear whiteline bar? What size were your bushes?

I tried calling whiteline but they are not available on weekends.

You're a victim of Whitelines apparently poor product packing.
I've heard of it happening before.
Your only option is to try and get some 24mm D rubbers from somewhere else.
They didn't send me enough swaybar link rubbers, so I had to make a dash to Autobarn to get some Nolathane ones.
Thankfully I got the right D-Bushes.

I had the same issue with both of my adjustable kits for E series. Just trim the rubber down to suit :)

Naa it was the other way around. Bushes too LARGE. Anyway I took them back to the place I bought them and whiteline are sending me out the correct bushes.

I just used the original rubber bushes for now since the standard and adjustable bars are the same diameter.

Also I have to say was was unimpressed with the quality of the swaybars. Lots of misaligned angles, the brackets didn't fit properly and the mounting holes were drilled incorrectly. The rear bar contacts on one side of the diff and the front one has the ends at the wrong angle, they slope upwards at 20deg instead of horizontal like the factory ones.

Feel fantastic on the road though, just poor quality workmanship.

Sure you got whiteline gear? That's shocking. My kit was complete and perfect first go.

Yeah I ordered it from whiteline through Bursons and it came in whiteline boxes with whiteline instructions and stickers on them.

Guys I cant trim the bushes down the problem is the hole in the middle of them is too large! You can't trim a hole smaller! Anyway the correct ones should be here tomorrow.

Still gotta say how good it feels to drive though. We will see if it translates into an improved lap time at Phillip Island in 2 weeks.

Once you get used to it, it will certainly improve your times. You'll be taking corners alot faster than you'd normally.
