ok fellas here goes.

i have a 95 fairmont an i wanna install illuminatred door handles but my car didnt come with the door lamps an there dosnt seem to be any wiring there for them.

now where do i get power from do i have to run wire from my footwells to my doors and if so how do i get it to run thru the tube that the rest of the door wiring runs through

On the drivers side theres 2 factory pins on the 'dash' side of the door loom that has the power,

On the passenger side Front, I don't think theres any provision, but I could be wrong, other than that you can use the roof light thats in the body loom (but It may terminate at the RHS passenger seat)

as for the flexible water protector... untape the ends and poke a coat hanger through it along with her new wires!

I've always added a twisted pair to the door looms whenever I operate on the door wiring! you just never know when you need something there!

thank you for the help iv decided with ur coat hanger idea i will tap into the footwell lights an run the wire through the flexible thing an into the door

Thats how I did the Ghia Door Lamps. There is a doco here on it.

Why not wire in some footwell lights while your at it?

footwell lights are already there an i didnt have the money at the time to do my courtesy lamps so yea, its all done now an looks ace
