Does anyone have or know of anyone that has one of these fitted? r they worth the $$$...and yes i know its only $15

Yeah mate put one on his v8 AU ute. All it does from what I understood is fool the computer in to supplying as much fuel as possible all the time. He said it definately gave him more power but his fuel consumption went thru the roof. He took it off and is putting in a monster cam and retuning the existing ECU.

in a nut shell its s**t and a complete waste of money. as xhute said all it does is fool the ecu into thinking its running cold therfore richening up the mixture. a quick easy and FREE way of doing this is pulling out your thermostat, but its not advised as your just going to burn more fuel quicker for very tiny results

my car runs dedicated gas, so fuel comsumption isnt really a prob at the moment. Do cams and gas mix?>

Yep. If you run dedicated gas you can actually gain power cos gas is higher octane.

yeah 99% will agree that it is a waste of time and you would get better results from $15 of 98 premium fuel.. :lol:
