Wondering if anyone can help me out here.....

I have a factory tickford lpg vehicle but has been fitted with an aftermarket converter and rewired all up, is there any way to fool the ECU and change it to the LPG maps on ecu. is there a pin that switches it over from ulp maps to lpg maps.

Thanks

Yeah, we've covered this before: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... sc&start=0
Pin 8 needs 12v (petrol), 0v (LPG) - best way is to run a wire over from the changeover switch. Let the aftermarket setup remain controlling the lockoffs, no need to hookup the ECU pins.

was checking it out today, with my sons el with tickford coverter and checking pin 8 and yes it switches between 0V Gas 10.5V Petrol

now heres the kicker, mine reads 9.5V from the ecu on pin 8 with nothing connected to that pin, so there must be something else that switches it
