is it just squeaky on the rails? happened in the telstar, used togo up and down beautiful but just made some real bad squeaks and stuff.

I just sprayed some silicon spray on the rails, worked a treat. never been back since. top stuff. bout 6 bucks from repco.

The drive gear inside your regulator is stuffed, the cables are binding instead of following the tracks on the wheel.

Sooner or later if the window is used more often, the cables will bind and knot and will either break the tension rod (on the cable) or jump off the wheel itself.

The only way to fix it is to get a new regulator,
Unless you can get a broken winder and 'gut' the parts out of it and replace the internal parts with yours!
