was up in bendigo for the week, some cold mornings - car was covered in ice. anyway went to start it in the morning and it wouldnt fire, kept cranking it till battery had had enough too then gave up. Tried it again that night and started with no dramas at all - battery had recovered i guess. I have noticed that other cold mornings it has really struggled to fire as well. Anyone got any ideas what it could be causing this? planning on taking car to the snow in a month or so and really want to figure it out before then (prick of a place to be stranded). Ony struggles to start when its cold outside and engine is cold.

i went to ford to get a new bolt from my oil sump (18 bucks for a bolt!) old one was completely threaded, and they said bring it back once i had done the oil and they could test teh battery, turns out it was stuffed so ive got a new one and seems to be starting a bit better, havent given it a full test out, but seems that was the problem.
