I did quaters, at WSID not so long ago 16.01, and my worsed time was 16.12. Got beaten by everythign I went up against but its all good fun. I am going again this wednesday (15/03/06) to see the difference an Auto and manual makes.

I have been practising to get the best possible starts and wheels spin is my biggest issue, however the wider tyres I have orderred should solve the issue, some cheap 255 nexens.

thought i would add onto this now as everyone is asking about rpd cam 1/4 times.as quoted ive got an el gli with crappy 3.08 ss diff, shift kitted auto.pacemaker comp extractors, 2.5" exhaust ticky intake and rpd stage 2 cam.my best time to date is a 15.5 at 93 mph i think, but that was with a 2.7 60" time.the crap 60 foot imte is coz of the diff gears and the cam not having much down low.just be interesting to know if anyone else has similar combos and what times they have run.cheers.

half a second from a cam change is still a good improvment..
a good stally and some new diff gears will help alot.
