hey guys,
how do you get the factory head unit out of one of these? it is the 6 stack in dash model. |

pretty sure same as the rest of the AU range
it has 4 pin holes 2 on each side and u instert a U shaped tool which unclips the security clips and allows the deck to come out nver seen a in dash 6 stacker unit so i cant say for sure any chance of a pic?

thats definatly how it works.. u slide the tools into the holes, push the ends of the tools closest to the rear of the car towards each other a little, and out comes the radio

It looks the same as any other AU headunit from the front,
I have done a search but no one has clearly defined how to get it out, does anyone have a pic of one out and that tags you have to unclip through the holes? |

Just out of interest I just removed my AU 1 Head unit out using some old cloth hangers i bent into the U shape. The trick is to get a mate to pull the unit whilst you hold the clips back.
