as prydey said, the ef intake is good. what a load of RUBBISh. the ef intake is the most restrictive out there.

with an el intake theres 2kw+ difference alone. the ef intake is f**k useless

decent snorkel or ram air induction with k&n/redline airfilter (panel) with a 3" pipe goin from the airbox to the t/b you will definately have some improvement.

Image and i found thise useless too! lol

these are not my thoughts but those of jim and brendon mock. they were comparing it with el and au. maybe your knowledge is greater than theirs...

i have a KnN pod in a box with a SS inductiojn(good coz the 5inch pipe in) but the lid on the box has the top part cut off it. This is to allow the sequential to do its job (soon to be seald to top of box) but i find its good.

revs easier and more responsive.

With the only mods at the time being a K&N Panel filter, 3" A/Box to T/Bod pipe and a quick adjustment of the CTC valve (thanks Pierre!) my EL Gli peaked at about 110rwkw then averaged at 97rwkw and 418rwnm.

A good, high flow, re-usable filter (K&N, BMC, Green Cotton) and new intake snorkel (EL XR8, perfect fit) would work out cheapest. Keep in mind you'll only get acouple of kw's but response and economy will decently improve.

If JMM thinks the EF intake is the best then why sell or use the 3" mandrel bent pipe on his drag car EB that is touted to be the fastest 6 at the time.
