Well I had a bad encounter in the wet and hit a gutter which bent my diff so now I need a new one, I phoned the wreckers and they said they have a Fairmont (don’t know what model it was I forgot to ask) but I said I needed one for a 95 EF Falcon. Im not 100% sure if this will suit so I thought it would be best to ask you guys... will it fit and are the ratio’s different between theses diffs?

Thanks heaps, Mark.

Yeah I know what you mean, one of the guys I was speaking to at a wreckers was trying to convince me that the EF XR’s were IRS and that ford never bought out a 3.45:1 diff :?

Yeah I know they are in Vic but its their stocktake sale so that means I get a diff which is exactly the same as the one I have now delivered to my door for $650 which I don’t think is too bad. I spent all day calling around wreckers around Sydney who all had outrageous prices and would not price match Pick N Pay Less. So I checked the forums for some bargains and I found a post from Ferntree Saying they have a stocktake sale. But meh $650 delivered im not complaining, not the cheapest I could of gotten it but certainly not the most expensive either, besides I need the diff ASAP as the car is un-drivable at the moment.
