The drivers door remote mirror is faulty the motor is operating but the glass does not move, can this fault be repaired or need to be replaced?

the Motor and mirror are all one mechanism. The mirror is (sort of) detachable, but when you buy the new part, its the mirror motor and housing all in one. connects with a small plug on the inside of the door.

i got a f**k ef mirror sitting here...vandals ripped the mirror off it...the motor in it still works tho
u think that the motors in them would be swapable?

i thought the mirror was connected to the motor with something and u can seperate them? open the rear cover and peer inside to see whats in it......u never know what u can find.
