Hey everyone. i spent about 3 hours with H3AT and another friend today to pull apart the exhaust off my EA.......toook us a while to get that damn nut that connects the catalytic converter with the exhaust manifold. but anyways we got that out.....we unscrewed every single screw possible to get the exhaust system out in one piece but we got stuck in one part.........the section between the centre muffler and the rear muffler.....there is a bend as everyone might know that goes over the rear axle.....how the hell do u get it out through that thing? do u have to raise the car up high to pull it out or do i just have to cut the piping between the centre muffler and the rear muffler?

there should be a slip join right at the back of the center muffler.

yeah i thought that i could just slide it out after undoing the bolts that were there.....but found out that they decided to put like silicon glue or something to hold it in and a bit of welding included as well :S. ah wells.....ill remove the glue (i think its silicon) off with a knife some how and the little welding bit might need uhhhhh some cutting or filing.
