hey all,

have an au fairmont and cannot get the door trim of the front passenger side door. have taken out 3 screws, two from bottom and one from left hand side and cannot get it off. have unclipped all bottom and sides, but there seems to be something holding it near long handle, (not actual door handle). how do i get this unclipped and get the trim off?

any help appreciated, cheers.

but en e-series theres about 6-8 screws arond the outside of the door trim. then there is one in the door handle, and 2 in the arm rest.

As well as the ones you've taken out, there's another screw under the power window unit (just pop it up with a screwdriver (carefully, wrap the screwdriver in a rag and pop it under the back, then unclip the electrics). Also, pop out the little round plastic cap (bout the size of a 20c piece near the front of the door (there's two, it's the furthermost back one) and there's a bolt under there you need to undo. Also, pull out the door handle plastic surround and there's another bolt behind there. All up 4 screws and two bolts. Oh, and you also need to pop off the plastic cover up near the mirror, it just pops off too. Good luck!
