I'm thinking of fitting a cam to my engine. Who are the manufacturers, what cam is suitable for my engine, what is the power range, cost?
Is there much difference in fuel economy?
EL XR6 engine, JMM headers, JMM hi-flow intake, hi-flow cat 2.5inch sports exhaust. Is there much difference in fuel economy?

mate there are a fair few different cam companies and cam profiles to choose fomr, some are: wade, rpd, jmm, crow, surecam and a couple more that ive forgotten the name of.

your best bet is to call up these places and tell them exactly what YOU want from the cam, power up high, down low, all round? it also depends on your ecu and transmission. jaysen from rpd and tensixtysix from wade can answer all your questions much better then we can because they are the experts, if you want a particular review of a profile ive heard good things about the r spec 3 from rpd and the 1004 or 1636 from wade.

let us know how you go mate!
