still if you get the conversion to run dual fuel then you just run whatevers cheaper to run...
my dad said that gas is cheaper but uses more to run the car, thus in the end the saving isnt as great as you initially think, is this true? |

s**t NO!!! It costs me less to run my six cylinder falcon on gas than it does to run my cousins four cylinder camry on fuel. Mind you, the cost of gas if at say 49 cents or at the moment its 55 or more. costs me bout 30 - 40 bucks to fill the sixty odd litre tank and that usually gets me about 400 kays to a tank. so that works out to cost me ten bucks per hundred kays. The cousin gets more from a tank of fuel in the camry - 500 to 600 for $80.00 worth of fuel. so thats dearer by far isnt it. fuel here is now 1.30 a litre or more (havent filled with fuel since it was 1.00 a litre hahaha)

but to add to that your old man is right with the gas using more than fuel. however some peolpe have far more advanced gas systems than whats fitted to my 94 ef (installed in 95), for instance, noabs has a new system which gets way better mileage from the gas. round the five hundred kays for sixty litres or so. which is heaps better than mine

WHEN IT SAYS EMPTY YOU FILL IT UP!!!"

ahh money really. wasn't for sale, just a random dude come up and asked to buy it. I started uni this year and needed the money so i took the offer. I purchased a stockie EF 2 fairmont with 150 thou kays for $4500 which i planned to just drive, be sensible keep money in the bank etc. But we all know how it goes! Just shoehorned on a pair of 19x8.5 and 19x9.0 ROH Modena's and sat it on its nut. focals are in, just about to undertake the rest of the install, and the list goes on... I thought i grew up! yeh nup. Also the speakers on the floor of the silver one were 7" dynaudio midbass' had the 3" mid in the doors and the tweeters in the factory dash location. Speakers were purchased from Pyroay i'm pretty sure theres a doco on the site somewhere about the buildup up the fibreglass/mdf boxes.
