so in one of my other topics i asked the question on wether on not i can do a blue led dash conversion on my ed. i was told no.
apparently the dials themselves are painted orange, so it would give a green sh*t color. has anyone got any ideas on what i could do to rectify that? maybe an old ef dials (compatibility?)...

I say you can do it and the blue looks like a strong LED blue.
Have done most of it in my car using the 3LED-to-a-glode setup from autobarn at $7 a globe. Using 4 globes in the std holes at the moment and plan to put another 2 in to finish it off. Will show you the photos in a week or two and you can decide for yourself. This is what it looks like in the light for starters.
