Is the 5 any better.
Forget the fact that the looms need to be swapped. Is is worth converting an EB to an EEC V? What are the benifits? |

physically the EEC-V comes with more memory and a processor which handles more input/outpus. To the average user that doesn't really matter, but it supports sequential injection and EDIS.
I personally don't see the point of the EEC-V, or the effort required to convert it. What are you trying to achieve? Cheers

I have a wrecked EF.
I have a good EB with bad motor. Looking at an upgrade, not sure if it's worth it. |

you siad you have a wrecked EF, and a good EB with bad motor, problem been the bad motor. Then you just put a dizzy on the good EF engine, and stick it in the EB..
Benefits are minimal. ELs came with EEC-IV's, nothing wrong with them... it was more a EEC-IV.5, but none the less an EEC-IV. Cheers
