Is it possible the drian whatever amount of coolent, and then remove the radiator surge tank to clean the brown s**t off from inside of it? Its making my otherwise spotless engine bay look s**t
i was thinking off removing it and filling it with detergent and shaking it until all the brown s**t has come off from the inside. All EB-EL owners will know what i am on about

I bought a near new BA header tank (as it is slightly smaller so i could move the LPG converter to fit extractors)
was only $40 from a wrecker ... and clean as a whistle

Not sure ... don't think there's really that much of a difference ... I swapped my AU header tanks for an AU one.
I needed a new hose from the bottom of the tank to the radiator ... which i needed anyway ... and one of the small hoses to the top of the radiator need to be longer ... so i got one. If the later E-series tank is the same size ... i don't think there's an issue ... maybe a difference where the mounts are located though to the suspension tower, etc. I know the AU/BA ones are interchangeable ... and the BA header tank uses a screw-top plastic cap that is still rated to the 120kPa from memory. But the one i got doesn't have a sensor in it either (as mine doesn't need it.).
