Now i've never posted before so im not sure if this is in the right spot. But here goes anyway.
I own a trusty EAII SPAC Falcon that i really do like because i love the look of the EA to ED's. But this is my question. I was under the impression that the EAII Spac's were only fitted with an open-wheel diff. Now open-wheel diff to me is only one drive wheel, usually the drivers side. But yesterday when i was blowing out cobwebs and steered left the left wheel wenta spinnin and then the right wheel. So is it a LSD or do open-wheelers do that. Coz my mate had and XB that when loaded up to the max still only one wheel was spinnin. So really confused i went home and loaded it up and fair enough just the one wheel started. Got out the back on the dirt and both were going. Went back to the road out the front and then left double leggers. Now this could be just an obvious answer but ive searched for the answer and couldnt find an explaination. Am i just dumb or is there something i dont know. Any input would be great.. Cheers Brad [/b] |

both wheels get power still, there just not locked, so if one starts to loose traction it will recive most of the power and spin up while the other one just sits there.

i was under the impression that S-packs came out with a 2.92:1 LSD.....
Simple, to check if its LSD just jack the rear of the car up and spin one wheel |

The will both still spin with a single spinner....have tried, what you do is it get someone to hold one side while you spin the other, if you cant without moving ya mate then its a LSD.

u might have an aftermakrket lsd.......
ea spacs came with lsd and open centre diff. sometimes when single spin diffs are about to break they spin 2 wheels but they dont last long.... simple way to check if its lsd is to jack it up like the guys above said... |

My EAII Spac also had a single spinner. AFAIK LSD was an option still.

Hey mate, good to see someone else with a EA S Pac.
Ive managed to get a hold of an original factory manual here's what it says Conventional: 2.92:1, 3.08:1, 3.23:1 Limited Slip(integral Carrier): 2.92:1, 3.08:1, 3.23:1 theres a small tag on the rear housing. attached where the filler plug is. all have to do is look on there. Mines a 3.23:1, but im going to re check if its a lsd, cause the tags a lil s**t.
