hey,
im about to do the wiring on the EL for my sound system and im wondering how do you remove the drivers side kick panel (ie the plastic panel that sits to the right of the accelerator pedal, adjacent to the door). It has two circular things which look like plastic screw type things but i cant get them out either screwing or just pulling cheers nick

Do it like i did last night, get a philips head screwdriver and undo the screws for the driver's side skirting board, take it off and then use a small flat head screwdriver to remove the two long clips for the kick panle and pull the kick panel out starting at the bottom. Take your time, no need to rush.

Yea, I find it much easier if you remove the door sill panel first, or at least loosen it off.

Use a flat blade screwdriver to slightly lift the fastener, then get a second flat blade screwdriver, slip each screwdriver under each side of the 'hat' through to the kickpanel face, and pull the screwdriver handles together outwards - much easier and no skinned knuckles either . . .
