i need to replace the gas struts on my boot lid, and i just grabbed some off ebay. But i am trying to get the old ones off, and i am having trouble getting at the forward most end of the strut. Do you have to take out the seat bolster to get it? or do you just fight with it and try and get it through the boot?
Cheers, Nic |

pretty easy to do with a screwdriver with a bit of length on it all you have to do is leaver the circular pin off it and put the new one on the same way
hope it helps

Once you got the hang of replacing your struts nicco, you can come and change mine. LOL
I was looking at the problem last week and said "f**k it" and removed the plastic bumps from the hinges. It goes all the way up and stays up. But still plan to get new struts |
