Hey all,

Just wondering if some one knows how to adjust the auto kickdown on an eb. it is very slow , i just want it to kick down just a bit earlier.

There is no kickdown adjustment as such as the transmission is controlled by the drivetrain computer so every thing is fixed in software as far a shift points are concerned.

You may a problem with tranmission itself & it would be wise to get the thing serviced by a transmission specialist.

you could try a shift kit for firmer shifts or a ED XR6 Auto ECU. This will give you better shift points.

If i were you i would be glad that you have a Electronic Auto Box. Especially if you are fuel consious. Try taking it out of economy mode as well, but i am betting you have already done that 8-)
