Hey guys i'm running a pioneer head deck with two amps and the power antenna all using the rem wire for the amp,if i turn it up after 30 secs or so the amps cut out and the antenna goes down.

I'm assuming i'm overloading the switch wire by having the antenna of it, i have no antenna control from head deck either.

My question is can i just hook up the antenna control to acc and use a switch for control? or will this blow the antenna control?just thought i'd ask before i tried and ended up frying it, cheers :D

yep u need a relay :P get the remote and take it to the trigger i/p of the relay then run all ur devices off the relays o/p because u can source more current thru the relay , the problem your having is that your overloading ur remote o/p and its shutting down

If you don't turn it up too much does it still cut out?

done, works perfectly actually cleared a bit of noise in my 6 x 9s i think the amp was sort of on the brink of cutting out before it did so wasn't conveying the quality as well.
