Someone might already have mentioned this, but i want to know those nf/nl cornering lights/lamps, will that just simple bolt on to the el fairmont/ghia bumper bar in the front brake ducts. It looks to me that there is 3 screw holes behind the duct cover, maybe there is something else needed?

I am not talking about wiring but the physical needs to be set up. thanks.

If you have a fairmont bar they will go straight in no mods once you remove the vents.

Cornering lights are just that, they give of a light that points mostly sideways. If your thinking of wiring them up as driving lights they wont do the job!

Yeah the front bar will have the 3 spots for the lights to fit straight in, and be bolted up.

note this is ONLY for the monts, not falcons.

Not really the light they project is mostly to the side. From factory (ghias) they come on with the indicators to light up around the corner, before turning into the corner.

Have a look in my gallery at the lights I put in these vents.

The lights are Narva Compac 80s, installed upside down.
Fairly easy to install

Remove front vents, indicators, Headlights & plastic covers from inside the guards.
I then cut a ~50mm hole into the top of the box that the cornering lights go into. This hole is to give you access for your drill. Then drill a hole into the bottom of the box for mounting the light, check position first. The lights are mounted as far back as practical, to allow room for the vents to go in.

I used new vents ($10ea) as the old ones the clips broke when removing them. Cut out the centre rail and reshape using fibrefill and a little bog. I also had to remove part of the back edge of the vent to give room for the lights. Then just repaint them.
