does anybody know what needs to be done to put an au engine into an el, do i need to change the ecu? any help is greatly appreciated

im assuming it's not a VCT motor? if not i cant see why you can't run the EL ignition setup (dizzy) and hence retain the EL ECU. AU's have a coil pack which would mean you need an EF or AU smartlock ECU if you wanted to run with the coil pack system

what for someone to confirm what ive said, im not 100% sure it'll work that easily.
