Lol, dude, do you mean that is okay, to leave it attached to the radiator and direct the hose away from the electrical thing under the water pump, right?

or u can take the hose off completely and let the water pour out everywhere.. it really doesn't matter.
Although the alternator would probably prefer it if the water was aimed somewhere downwards underneath the car just loosen the other end of the hose.. twist it around so it points down.. and presto |

Yep, flushing done and all hoses retightened properly. Dinner time, then refill time.

Did you follow steps 6-10 from your manual? these are very important. This is how you get any air out of the system.

if you put the hose in No2 as shown (top hose), did you take the thermostat out? what im saying is did you stick the hose in the thermostat housing

I did put it in no2, but after disconnecting it at the thermo. end. Then put the garden hose in that hose, water passed through radiator, and out of bottom hose and bottom plug.

Please explain.
And also I did a complete system flush not long ago. Fudged up one of the hoses so lost some coolant and that's why I did this procedure just recently.
